Methods: A total of 72 patients with COPD and respiratory failure admitted to the author's hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected and divided into observation group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, and the observation group was treated with conventional combined with non-invasive ventilator. The level of inflammatory factors and arterial blood gas were compared. Results: Compared with the AND control group, the levels of inflammatory factors in IL-18 and TNF-α in the observation group were lower and the levels of IL-10 were higher (P<0.05). Compared with the AND control group, the observation group had higher PaO2 and SaO2 levels, and the PaCO2 levels were lower, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of non-invasive ventilators in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure can improve the levels of arterial blood gas and inflammatory factors, and effectively improve the respiratory disorder of patients, which has clinical application value.
